Serving God always means making Him the primary focus of our lives. It is not that family matters or other human obligations are unimportant. But nothing in this world should come between us and the will of God.

Today, we salute the birth of John. Family, friends, and neighbors all understood that he would be someone special. While they could not know all that the angel Gabriel had told his father Zechariah in the temple, they knew that he had returned from the temple unable to speak.  

Long known as Corpus Christi Sunday, in today’s feast, we revere the gift of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ sacrificed for our salvation
